North Union FFA Travels to 76th National Convention By Hannah Monroe North Union FFA Reporter Members of the North Union FFA Chapter traveled to Louisville Kentucky for the 76th National FFA Convention. They parted for Louisville Wednesday October 29th after along with members form Mt. Gilead and River Valley FFA Chapters. The students toured at Kentucky State University Aquaculture Research Center and they later toured the Anderson Circle Farm Angus Ranch. In Louisville, the Agronomy team competed for a national title, while placing 2nd in the nation. While in Louisville, they toured the Louisville Slugger Museum and Montgomery Farms. At convention they attended sessions, workshops, and the American Degree Ceremonies were graduates Annette Rubeck and Stephanie Overfield-Dutton received their American Degrees. After their last session on Saturday November 1, they parted for home after a week filled with fun and learning. |
