North Union FFA has Success at District Six FFA Speaking The North Union FFA competed in the District Six FFA Public Speaking Contest held at Buckeye Valley High School on February 28th 2007. The participants were Harley Jerew in Beginning Prepared, and Rebecca Smith in creed. Rebecca presented and placed eight out of thirty two contestants. The Creed contest has students memorize and recite the FFA Creed and answer three to five questions on its meaning and its relationship to our life. Harley Jerew presented her beginning prepared speech on the W.H.I.P conservation program and placed 7th out of thirty two contestants. The beginning prepared contest has FFA members write research and memorize a five to seven minute speech. |
